How can I add new content?

Firstly, go to the content section relevant to the content you want to add. You can add new content inside Knowledge Vault in two ways:

  1. Using the New button

  2. Clicking the bottom row with “+ New“ written on it at the table.

You can use Control + F or simply use the 🔍 button on the top right corner of the database on the content page, such as “Ebooks”. You can also use the 🔍 Search button on top of the main pages such as “Knowledge Vault”.

Once you click one of these new buttons, you will see the empty default template. Please fill in the official title of the content, the category of the content, and the content’s link. The category of the content gives cues to readers on what the content is related to.

  1. You do not need to fill in the content’s page here. If you want to support the content with more resources, feel free to use the Resources properties to add documents, links, and images.
  2. As seen, the content type automatically appears in the new template. This is because we use filters. Therefore, if you want to experiment with filters, please do not save the filters for everyone if you change the primary ones.
  3. If you want to add content regarding GPT Prompts on the Knowledge Vault page, please do not use the Prompt tag. This is to keep the space and its filters organized. Use the GPT tag instead.
  4. If you want to view the content in a different layout, please do not edit the current view. You can create a new materials view and experiment. Check how to create a new materials view below.
  5. Since this is an open source hub, all pages are unlocked and accessible. Therefore, please do not lock any database or pages; this would prevent contributors from adding new content, and our intention is transparency and collaboration. </aside>
