How can I add a new use case?

Firstly, go to the relevant subsection if you want to add the new tool or hack in. You can add a new tool in two ways:

  1. Using the New button

  2. Clicking the bottom row with “+ New” written on it at the table.

You can use Control + F or simply use the 🔍 button on the top right corner of the database on the content page, such as “Twitter Sourcing.” You can also use the 🔍 Search button on top of the main pages, such as “Sourcing Tools & Hacks.”

Once you click one of these new buttons, you will see the default template. Please fill in the tool’s name, the subtag (knowledge), the use cases (category) of the tool, and the official link of the content. The subtag of the content gives cues to readers on what the sub-area use cases are related to.

  1. You do not need to fill in the use case’s page here. If you want to support it with more resources, feel free to add documents, links, and images to the page of the content.
  2. A tool might have multiple use cases within one subsection, such as “Sourcing Strategy.” Please insert all use cases in one row for that tool and use category tags to guide readers.
  3. Since this is an open-source hub, all pages are unlocked and accessible. Therefore, please do not lock any database or pages; this would prevent contributors from adding new content, and our intention is transparency and collaboration.
  4. The subsections are filtered based on Knowledge filters. Please note the tables have filters on them based on the Knowledge column, and choosing a tag that belongs to another page, such as “Books,” would show your example on another page, such as “Knowledge Vault.”
    1. If you want to experiment with filters, please do not save your filters for everyone.
  5. If you want to view the content in a different layout, please do not edit the current view. You can create a new table view and experiment. Check how to create a new table view here. </aside>

🎉Voila, you added a new use case. Knowledge is best when shared! 🎉

I deleted a row by accident: What now?

No worries! Simply use Control + Z or go to 🕘View All Updates button on the top right corner of the page. If you realize the mistake after a while, please do not restore an earlier version from 🕘View All Updates section as this might erase other contributions made by contributors after the time mistake was made.
